Fashion News: Proenza Schouler’s Jack and Lazaro Leaving Their Namesake Brand & Naked Wolf Launches Their First Ever Bag
Proenza Schouler Moving to a Warmer Climate?
Welp, it looks like the fashion designer musical chairs game is not over. Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the designing duo behind Proenza Schouler, are leaving their brand. They’ve built Proenza Schouler from an indie label in 2002 into the fashion force it is today. After creating things from top-to-bottom in 23 years of working together (gosh!), they’re walking away from it. Where will they go? Rumor has it, well according to WWD, so not that much of a rumor, they’re going to slip into Loewe’s creator directorship sometime this spring. What will happen to Jonathan Anderson? There is talk that he will succeed Maria Grazia Chiuri as the lead for Dior.
Don’t worry about PS shutting down. The duo is working to find a new creative director for the brand before they step down on January 31, 2025.
Has anyone created a fashion designer bingo card yet? If so, please show it to me.
